When is the next Fed decision?

The next scheduled FOMC decision is on December 9, 2026, with the statement at 2:00 p.m. ET and the press conference at 2:30 p.m. ET. The Fed treats each date as tentative until the meeting before it confirms it.

When do ES and NQ futures expire?

The equity index futures (ES, NQ, YM, RTY and their micros) stop trading at 9:30 a.m. ET on the third Friday of March, June, September and December, or the business day before when that Friday is a holiday. Most volume has moved to the next quarter by about eight days earlier.

What time does US economic data come out?

CPI, PPI, the jobs report, GDP and PCE are all released at 8:30 a.m. ET, an hour before the US stock market opens. The EIA's crude inventories come out at 10:30 a.m. ET on Wednesdays and natural gas storage at 10:30 a.m. ET on Thursdays, unless a holiday moves them.

Is CME open on US holidays?

Often, with shorter hours. On most Monday holidays CME Globex trades but the equity index futures halt early, at 12:00 p.m. CT, with no settlement that day; Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Good Friday are usually full closures. CME publishes each holiday's exact hours about two weeks ahead.
