Futures Calendar Recap, 20–24 April 2026
No scheduled economic release: the week's one fixed date was May crude oil's expiry on Tuesday.
Nothing from the Fed, the BLS or the BEA was scheduled this week, so the fixed dates were the energy market's own. The May crude oil contract (CLK6) stopped trading on Tuesday 21 April; CL volume usually moves to the next month in the days before. The EIA's reports kept their Wednesday and Thursday 10:30 a.m. ET times.
The next week was one of the year's busiest: the Fed's decision on Wednesday 29 April, then first-quarter GDP and March's PCE inflation on Thursday 30 April.
