Futures Calendar Recap, 27 April – 1 May 2026: Fed rate decision, PCE inflation, GDP

The Fed's decision on Wednesday, first-quarter GDP and March's PCE inflation on Thursday, and May natural gas and April gold expiring on Tuesday.

The Fed's two-day meeting ended on Wednesday 29 April with the statement at 2:00 p.m. ET and the chair's press conference at 2:30, late evening in Europe and the early hours of Thursday in Asia. It was not a projections meeting; those come with the March, June, September and December meetings.

Thursday 30 April brought the advance estimate of first-quarter GDP and March's personal income and outlays, which carries the PCE inflation measure, both at 8:30 a.m. ET.

Tuesday 28 April was the last trading day for May natural gas (NGK6) and April gold (GCJ6). April's jobs report came the following Friday, 8 May.
