Futures Calendar Recap, 18–22 May 2026
No scheduled economic release; June crude oil stopped trading on Tuesday, a day early because of Memorial Day.
The week had no scheduled release from the Fed, the BLS or the BEA. June crude oil (CLM6) stopped trading on Tuesday 19 May. Its rule counts back three business days from the 25th of the month before delivery; with 25 May a holiday, the count started from Friday 22 May instead, which moved the expiry a day earlier.
Memorial Day itself came on Monday 25 May, the start of a holiday-shortened week.
