Futures Calendar Recap, 29 June – 3 July 2026: Jobs report
A holiday week: June's jobs report a day early on Thursday 2 July, and Independence Day observed on Friday 3 July.
Independence Day fell on a Saturday, so the federal holiday was Friday 3 July and the BLS published June's employment report on Thursday 2 July at 8:30 a.m. ET, its scheduled date for that report. Thursday was a full trading day on the NYSE.
On Friday 3 July the NYSE was closed; the equity index futures halted early, at 12:00 p.m. CT (1:00 p.m. ET), with no settlement that day. The EIA's reports kept their usual Wednesday and Thursday times.
